Training is a number one priority for the Dallas Police Helicopter Unit. Monies raised will augment and provide crucial additional training to our pilots, to make them an even more effective and safer crew.
Sometimes, the equipment we need, we can't get. Our Foundation will be able to provide the Dallas Police Helicopter Unit with the additional equipment they seek to reduce crew resource management and give them an additional tool to utilize to catch the bad guy.
As a designated DHS Tier 1 City, we need all the help we can get to keep the citizens safe. This means improvements to our existing two 2007 Bell 206 B3 Jet Ranger helicopters, and possibly funding for additional and higher performance mission capable aircraft.
